If you already have a good foundation of basic skills and want to take yourself to the next level, or if 1 week simply isn't enough, this course offers the ideal follow up to the Beginners Course - Week 1. The course is still designed for beginners and covers basic skills. It can be taken independently of Week 1, although the content is different for those considering a 2 week programme.
Similar to Week 1, this course is well suited to school leavers who are off to university or embarking on a Gap Year and want to gain 'survival skills' which also have applications in all walks of life, aiding multi-tasking, quick thinking and organisation.
You will leave with a wide ranging portfolio of versatile dishes and essential cooking skills including:
International cookery including French, Mexican, Italian, British and modern European cookery, soups, salads, butchery, pastry and bakery, knife skills, organisation, dinner party menus, fish preparation, ice creams, risotto
Who is this course for?
This course is specifically run with a more mature audience in mind, as opposed to the July and September dates which are more suited to Gap Year students and children.
