Pay4Later Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I consider finance? Finance a course through this scheme offers a structured repayment plan at a fixed rate, structured around your needs, to allow you to spread the cost of a cookery course at Tante Marie.
Do I qualify for finance?

To qualify for finance, you must:

1. Be a permanent UK resident and able to supply a UK address history for the last 3 years.
2. The person applying must be 18 years old or over. This could be you or, if you are under 18, it could be a parent.
3. Have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits.
4. Have no adverse credit history (no CCJ's, IVA's or bankruptcies).
5. At the time of application, be in regular full or part time employment (minimum 16 hours per week, unless you are retired or a house owner with a spouse in full time employment).
6. Pay the deposit using a credit or debit card.

Customers from outside the UK cannot apply for finance under the Pay4Later scheme.

Can my parents/partner take out a loan for a course for me? Yes, as long as you are over 18 and your parents/partner qualify for finance they can take out finance for your course. They will be fully liable for the loan.
What deposit will I have to pay?The minimum deposit payable is £750 for the 4 week Essential Skills course and the Cordon Bleu Certificate, or £1,500 for the Cordon Bleu Diploma and Intensive Cordon Bleu Diploma courses. You can pay a higher deposit as a way of reducing the monthly payments. Contact us to discuss a payment plan which works for you.
What if I change my mind after taking our finance? You have a 14 day 'cooling-off' period from the date you sign your agreement to change your mind about the loan. After this period our standard cancellation policy will apply. If you start the course before your 'cooling off' period ends you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of the loan.
How long does the Pay4Later application process take? Your application should take around 5 minutes over the phone. You will be asked a few preliminary questions and will then be sent an online link for you to complete your application. Once you have been approved by Pay4Later simply pay your deposit and we will send out all of your confirmation details.
